The Pintabian Horse Registry, which was established in 1992, carries on the traditions of the early Bedouins by keeping accurate records and detailed pedigrees.  

Certificates of Registration are issued to owners of Pintabians upon application and qualification.

1992 - The Pintabian Horse Registry was Founded:


Rules were in place and 
the registration of foundation horses began.

1994 - PHRI Promotion Begins at Equine Expositions:

Literally tens of thousands attended
and learned more about the world's newest breed.

1996 - Pintabian Foal Introduced at the Minnesota Horse Expo:


Many had the opportunity to experience the Pintabian foal hands-on and it was extremely well received.

2001 - The First PHRI Sanctioned Horse Show is Held:

2001 - Pintabian Int'l Festival & Equine Exposition Held:


Detroit Lakes, Minnesota turned out to be the ultimate vacation destination and an enjoyable time was had by all!

2008 - Registration of PartPintabians Will Begin:

Pintabian stallion X Belgian mare:


Pintabian stallion X Grade mare:


Pintabian stallion X Shetland mare:


One parent must be a purebred Pintabian; the other can be a horse of any type including draft or pony lines.


This will benefit the Pintabian stallion owner as well as add refinement, beauty and pizazz to non-Pintabians.
